Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use this website. The trip-planning service itself is arranged separately, by direct agreement, and has its own terms.

1. Who we are
This website, yourbrazilguide.com, is operated by Logan Robert Dalmas, registered as an individual microentrepreneur (MEI) in Brazil under CNPJ 67.540.009/0001-66, Rua Recanto das Gaivotas 350, Florianópolis, SC 88048-652, Brazil ("Your Brazil Guide", "we", "us"). We are listed in CADASTUR, the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism's register of tourism providers.
2. Accepting these terms
By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of other travellers, you confirm you are allowed to act for them.
3. What this website is
This site is an information and inquiry tool. It describes Brazil destinations and the kind of custom trip planning we offer, and it lets you contact us. Reading the site does not create a client relationship and does not commit either of us to anything.
Any actual trip-planning work is arranged separately, by direct agreement between you and us — usually by email — with its own scope, price and terms. Those separate terms, once agreed, govern the planning service. Nothing on this website is a binding quote or an offer capable of acceptance simply by replying.
4. The information on the site
We write about Brazil from first-hand experience and try to keep it accurate and current. Even so:
- travel information changes — visa rules, opening hours, prices, safety conditions, transport routes and entry requirements can all change without notice, and you should confirm anything important with official sources before you rely on it;
- descriptions of places, lodges, tours and experiences are our impressions, not guarantees, and third parties can change what they offer;
- where we link to or mention other companies — airlines, hotels, tour operators, government sites — we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, services or availability.
The site is provided for general information. It is not professional advice — legal, medical, financial or otherwise.
5. Intellectual property
The text, layout, design and original photography on this site belong to Your Brazil Guide unless stated otherwise. Some photographs are used under Creative Commons licences or by permission of the operators shown; those are listed on our Photo credits page.
You are welcome to read, bookmark and share links to the site, and to quote short passages with credit and a link. You may not republish substantial parts, copy the design, or use anything here commercially without our written permission. "Your Brazil Guide" and our logo are our marks and may not be used without permission.
6. Acceptable use
When using the site, do not:
- submit false information, or someone else's details without their permission;
- use the forms to send spam, advertising or automated submissions;
- try to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
- scrape or harvest content or data at scale; or
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We can restrict or block access if the site is misused.
7. What you send us
When you submit a form or email us, you confirm the information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information that we have not asked for.
8. Availability
We try to keep the site up and working, but we do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Your Brazil Guide will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, opportunity or data, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this website or your reliance on anything on it.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Brazilian consumer law or other applicable mandatory law. This section is about use of the website; any trip-planning services we agree to provide are covered by the separate terms for that work.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover us for reasonable losses and costs we incur because you have misused the site or broken these terms.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use. The version on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute connected with the website or these terms will be handled by the courts of the District of Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, except where mandatory law (such as consumer-protection rules) gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
