Free advice

Get advice on your Brazil trip

Thirty minutes on a call with me, free, about wherever you are in planning. You do not have to have dates, a budget, or any idea where you want to go. Most people who book one of these are still at "we think we want to go to Brazil."

What this is

  • Thirty minutes, video or just audio, whichever you prefer
  • You ask, I answer. Where to go with the time you have, when to go, what it actually costs, whether the thing you read online is true
  • Honest answers, including the ones that talk you out of something
  • Free, and it stays free until my calendar fills up

What it is not

  • A sales call. I am not going to pitch you. If you want me to plan the whole trip, ask and I will tell you how that works, and if you do not ask I will not bring it up
  • A full itinerary. I will happily tell you the shape of a good two weeks. Building it day by day is a different thing
  • Open-ended. Thirty minutes is thirty minutes, so come with your questions

When

Fridays and Saturdays, four slots a week. Brazil does not do daylight saving, so I am one hour ahead of New York from March to November and two hours ahead the rest of the year. Late morning here covers the whole United States comfortably.

Worth having ready

  • Roughly when you are thinking of going, even if it is just a season
  • How long you can go for
  • Whether this is your first time in Brazil
  • The one thing you are most stuck on

None of it is required. It just means we spend the thirty minutes on your trip instead of on background.

Why I am doing this

Straight answer: I want to understand the people who are actually planning these trips. I have been to 18 of Brazil's 26 states and I live here, so I know the country. What I do not know yet is what an American planning their first trip is really stuck on, and I would rather hear it from you than guess at it. That is worth more to me right now than charging you for the half hour.
